China EV Parts · Family 01 · Onboard Chargers & DC-DC
Onboard chargers (OBC) and DC-DC converters are the most common electronics failure on parallel-imported Chinese EVs. This page has 15 real part numbers, a nameplate decoded field by field, and the firmware check that keeps a good part from becoming a bad purchase.
Classic symptom: DC fast charging works, AC home charging doesn't. That's the OBC — and you're on the right page.
The Nameplate Is the Order
This is a real unit from our stock — not a catalogue picture.
Huawei DriveONE 3-in-1 charging assembly on our bench — fits AITO M5 / Seres, 400 V platform. Everything a correct order needs is printed on this label. Photograph yours the same way and send it.
| On the label | This unit | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Model | MPC07A5TDA101 | Huawei DriveONE model code. "MPC" opens the charging-system family — Huawei never publishes these as orderable numbers, so the label is the only reliable source. |
| Name | 车载充电机总成 | "Onboard charger assembly" — a 3-in-1: AC charger + inverter + DC-DC in one liquid-cooled case. One box, three jobs. |
| Charger input | 220 VAC / 50 Hz | Single-phase AC charging — home wallbox and public AC posts. |
| Charger output | 200–502 VDC | The output window that matches a 400 V battery platform. An 800 V car needs a different unit — this is a first-glance compatibility check. |
| Rated power | 6.6 kW | The AC charging speed tier. Common across many Chinese EVs of this generation. |
| Inverter input / output | 260–502 VDC / 6 kVA max | This assembly also inverts pack voltage to power external loads — the vehicle-to-load feature lives here. |
| DC-DC output | 13.8 VDC · 3.3 kW | Feeds the 12 V system. When this stage dies, the classic symptom is "the EV won't wake up" even with a full pack. |
| Part number | 2107110-RL01 | The number that actually orders the part: segment 2107110 (charger assembly, Dongfeng Sokon / Seres system) + variant RL01. |
| H W | C.1.0 | Hardware version — the field your service centre checks before agreeing a replacement can be flashed to your car. Details below. |
| Dual marking | SERES-8407 | The carmaker's own reference printed alongside the supplier's. Two numbers, one part — quote either and we match it. |
| Batch | R2F10105 | Production batch — the second key in a firmware-compatibility check. |
| Protection / cooling | IP67 · liquid-cooled | Sealed against water and dust; plumbed into the coolant loop. Units ship drained, ports capped. |
The Number Index
Every number has a verified source. None are invented.
75 numbers shown
About the orange price tags: they are the retail price the same part number is listed at by shops in Russia and the CIS (captured from published listings in July 2026, source link kept for every one) — not our quote. They are here so the gap you are trying to close is visible. Local prices move with stock and exchange rates; our own figure depends on quantity, packing and destination, and always comes with photos of the actual part.

No match in these 15 — that does not mean no.
This index is the shop window, not the warehouse. Send the nameplate photo and we identify the unit within 24 hours.
Numbers are hard facts from verified sources; part names come from supplier listings and can be loose — we re-verify name and fitment against the factory catalogue before quoting. A dash in the Fits column means fitment is not confirmed yet: send the number and we check it within 24 hours.
Crack the Number
Chinese part numbers follow segment logic — learn four segments and you can sanity-check any quote.
The segment names the function; the suffix picks the vehicle and supplier variant. One family of numbers covers a Huawei-built AITO unit and a budget city van alike.
Standalone DC-DC converters in the Dongfeng world carry this segment. If your quote says "3738010" but describes a charger, someone upstream mixed the boxes up.
Early BYD EVs and hybrids use the 2107010 core with platform letters in front — the prefix tells you which car before you even ask.
MPC07A5TDA101 is printed as "Model" on the label, but Huawei does not publish an orderable catalogue for these codes. There is no website to look it up. That is exactly why photographing the nameplate is the only reliable path to the right unit.
Two practical uses: sanity-check a seller's quote — a "2107110" offered as anything but a charger assembly is a red flag — and find neighbours: if your suffix isn't in our 15, the segment still tells us exactly where to search. Other segments you'll meet in the table: 2107100X (JAC) and 296…R (Renault-system numbers used by Dongfeng joint ventures).
Size & Weight Reference
Figures from Huawei's official DriveONE product pages — use them to estimate courier cost before you ask.
| DriveONE unit | Dimensions | Weight | Shipping reality |
|---|---|---|---|
| 11 kW 3-in-1 high-voltage version, current generation |
420 × 264 × 101 mm | ≤ 16 kg | One ordinary courier parcel. At this size the actual weight — not the volume — sets the rate. |
| 7 kW 2-in-1 high-voltage version — the closest current relative of the bench unit above |
274 × 200 × 70 mm | ≤ 7.5 kg | Smaller than a carry-on bag. Express-friendly anywhere a courier delivers. |
The part everyone forgets: there are no lithium cells inside a charger or a DC-DC converter. None of the battery shipping restrictions apply — these units fly express worldwide as normal electronics. Liquid-cooled assemblies ship drained with ports capped.
Huawei publishes product-level data only — no per-part numbers. For an exact match, the nameplate remains the ordering key.
Firmware & Fitment
The check nobody advertises — and the reason our wrong-part rate stays at zero.
A modern onboard charger is not a dumb box. It negotiates with the battery management system and the vehicle gateway, and on Huawei DriveONE platforms the unit is software-matched to the car. Bolt in a donor unit with mismatched software and the car can refuse to charge — with a perfectly healthy part on board.
"The unit must be flashed to match the car."
— the service centre in Astana, before we shipped an AITO M9 charger. They were right. It's normal, not a defect — and it's exactly the check we build into every order.
What decides compatibility is printed on the label: the hardware version (the H W field) and the production batch. Same hardware version — flashable. That's why our quotes come with a photo of the actual unit's nameplate, never a stock picture.
Step 01
You send the label of the failed unit — the VIN helps too. We reply with the label of the exact unit we would ship: model, part number, hardware version, batch.
Step 02
Your service centre compares the H W field and batch against your car and confirms they can flash the unit. We hold the shipment until that confirmation comes back — the wrong-part risk stays on our side of the border.
Step 03
The contract states it plainly: tested take-off part, function-verified, 3-month warranty. Then the box moves — express courier, with photos before sealing.
A Real Order, Start to Finish
One real order, not a list price — every unit is quoted individually against its nameplate. The sequence never changes: identify, confirm fitment, put it in writing, ship.
Before You Ask
Both exist, and the quote always says which. For late-model cars the realistic supply is tested take-off units from donor cars — the same part your car left the factory with, function-verified before shipping. For some models new units are available too. We never blur the two: a used part is sold as "used take-off part, tested, working" in the contract, at a used-part price.
It means the unit works as tested — and that promise sits in the sales contract, not in a chat message. Every take-off is function-verified before dispatch, you receive photos of the actual unit and its nameplate, and the warranty term is written next to the part description. If a deadline or an installer's requirement changes what you need, tell us before we ship, not after.
Identification within 24 hours. Then two speeds: express courier in 3–7 days, or the economy line in 15–25 days. Chargers and DC-DC converters contain no lithium cells, so none of the battery shipping restrictions apply — even the biggest 3-in-1 assembly (about 16 kg) flies as a normal electronics parcel.
Almost certainly. The table is the shop window, not the warehouse. Send the number — or better, a photo of the nameplate on the failed unit, plus the VIN — and we identify the exact part within 24 hours. The segment logic above means even an unfamiliar suffix tells us exactly which family to search.
It's a two-key lock. We supply the evidence: a photo of the actual unit's nameplate with its hardware version (H W) and batch. Your service centre turns the second key: they confirm the unit can be flashed to your car. We do not ship until that confirmation comes back — so a "healthy part that won't talk to the car" never becomes your problem.
Send It Now
Part number, nameplate photo description, or just the car model and the charging symptom — we identify your charger or DC-DC within 24 hours, with price, photos of the actual unit, and two shipping speeds.
