Prime rating
Continuous primary power — a mine, oilfield, off-grid site or any 24/7 load. Always lower than the standby number.
And it derates further: site temperature and altitude shave the real number down again — so we confirm your unit's real numbers at your site conditions, in writing, before production.

There is no single price — it depends on the power rating, enclosure type, engine and alternator brand, certification and the route. Freight plus EAC certification into a landlocked market matters as much as the unit price. We quote your real landed cost — factory price, our transparent fee, freight, EAC and duty — for your exact specification, usually within 24 hours.
This is the single biggest risk and it's why we exist. Before any money moves, we verify the engine and alternator are genuine, current models — not clones, re-stamped cores or unknown brands in a name-brand shell — and run a pre-shipment load test to confirm the genset actually holds its rated power. You get a report with photos and, where useful, video before it ships.
Standby rating is for short backup use during a mains outage. Prime rating is for continuous, primary power — an off-grid site, mine or oilfield. A genset's prime rating is lower than its standby rating. Buying a standby-rated unit for a continuous load is one of the most common and expensive mistakes — tell us your duty cycle and we'll size it correctly.
