There are two clear liquids and they are not the same. MEKP (the hardener / "white water") starts the cure; cobalt accelerator ("blue water") makes it cure at room temperature. If your resin is not pre-accelerated, MEKP alone won't cure it — you'd also need cobalt, and the two must never be mixed directly. We lock in pre-accelerated resin so your shop adds only MEKP — one bottle, no confusion, no scrapped parts.

Because it's a cheap, universal consumable (about 1–2% of your resin), we recommend buying it locally and tell you exactly how much to add. We ship the resin, mat, gelcoat and cloth.
191 orthophthalic is the general-purpose, lower-cost resin for planters, panels and everyday parts. Isophthalic resists water and chemicals better — the right choice for boat hulls and storage tanks. We recommend the grade based on what you build.
