So we quote welders as a kit: the machine, the gun, and the consumables box on the right — packed into the same container as your liner. One shipment, one set of documents, zero waiting.
Site power note: machines run 220 V single-phase — on generator-powered sites, tell us the generator and we'll confirm the match before anything ships.

Proving The Seam
The dual-track wedge weld exists for one reason: the channel between the tracks holds air pressure. Cap both ends, pump to pressure, wait — a tight seam holds, a bad one tells on itself in minutes. Add destructive coupons (peel and shear samples cut from test welds each morning) and your engineer has a paper trail from the first seam to the last.
Before shipment, we run every machine: heat-up time, temperature accuracy against a reference probe, drive speed consistency, and a test weld on your actual liner material when we ship them together. The machine arrives proven, not promised.
Straight Answers
Thin liner (0.2–0.75 mm, ponds and aquaculture) runs happily on 750–850 W machines. From 1.0 mm up — landfill, mining, brine — you want the 2,100 W class, which keeps wedge temperature and drive force stable in thick sheet. Buying the class above your thickest sheet is cheap insurance.
Yes, on any real site. The wedge does the straight kilometres; the gun does pipe penetrations, corners, patches and every repair QC finds. A wedge-only site stops dead at the first detail. We quote them as a pair with resin-matched welding rod.
The good builds are solid working machines at a fraction of European pricing — the difference is checking before shipping: temperature accuracy against a reference probe, drive consistency, and a proper spares kit in the box. That pre-shipment run is exactly what we do. The brands with weak temperature control don't pass it.
220 V single-phase. Remote lining sites usually run generators — tell us the generator rating and we confirm the match (the 2,100 W class plus a gun needs honest headroom, not a nameplate promise) before anything ships.
