Hydraulics · By Part Number · Verified Before You Pay
Send one hydraulic part number into the Chinese market and you get back five different products at five different prices — all of them "yes, we have it". Knowing which one you were quoted is the whole job.
What "We Have It" Actually Means
Nobody in this chain lies to you. They just answer a different question than the one you asked. Here is what actually arrives, top to bottom — and when each one is genuinely the right call.
Bought through the brand's own channel and re-exported. Correct when the machine is under warranty, when a certificate has to name the original maker, or when a failure stops a production line.
Same drawings, same tolerances, made locally under the brand's own plant. Often the sweet spot — but only some brands and only some part families have it, and the seller has to be able to prove which plant.
A Chinese specialist that builds this part family properly, with its own test bench and a published pressure/flow curve. This is where most of the sensible money goes — and where a supplier audit earns its cost, because the tier below looks identical from outside.
Dimensions copied so it bolts on, internals not. Softer steel, wider clearances, seals of unknown compound. It works on the test bench and fails under real duty cycles — which is why it usually fails after the balance was paid.
Cleaned, repainted, new seal kit, old bores. Legitimate when it is declared and priced as refurbished — a real option for an old machine. Not legitimate when it arrives in a box that says new.
We don't push you to rung 1. On a fifteen-year-old machine, rung 3 or a declared rung 5 is often the right answer. What we do is make sure the rung you paid for is the rung that arrives — and tell you which one a quote actually sits on before you commit.
What We Source
Every family has one number that matters more than the rest. Get that one right and the substitution question mostly answers itself.
The one that matters: coil voltage and spool function. A correct body with the wrong coil is a dead machine.
Send the number →The one that matters: displacement and rotation direction. Ask for the test-bench curve, not the catalogue page.
Send the number →The one that matters: gear ratio and mounting PCD. Two motors that look identical differ in the reduction inside.
Send the number →The one that matters: bore, rod, stroke, closed length and pin diameter — five numbers, not one. Rod chrome thickness decides how long it survives.
Send the five numbers →The one that matters: compound, not size. NBR where it should be Viton and the kit is gone in a hot circuit.
Send the kit number →The one that matters: thread standard. JIC, BSP and metric look alike and seal on completely different faces.
Send a photo →Start From Whatever You Have
Most requests arrive incomplete. All four of these are workable starting points — the first one is just the fastest.
Fastest route. We cross-check it against the machine model before quoting, because the same number is reused across families and a digit typo lands you a different part.
Second best. Send the plate on the part and the plate on the machine. Between the two we can usually resolve the family and the variant.
Measure and photograph: ports, threads, overall length, mounting pattern. For cylinders send bore, rod, stroke, closed length and pin size.
"Boom drifts down", "slow under load", "leaks when hot". Tell us the machine and the symptom — often the part that needs replacing isn't the one being blamed.
Before The Balance Payment
You pay the factory invoice. We add nothing to it. We earn from China's export VAT rebate — 9–13% depending on the HS code — paid by the state to the exporter of record after the goods leave.
It is not a kickback from any factory. No supplier pays us anything, which is exactly why we can tell you that a quote sits on rung 4 instead of selling it to you as rung 2.
Small parts, one shipment: hydraulics are light and high value, so a parts order rarely fills a container on its own. We hold your items and consolidate them with the next order — or send them air freight when a machine is down and every day counts. How we cost the options.
The same structure applies to every order — from a first trial batch to regular containers.
You discuss price and product directly with the factory. The agreed price is final: if the goods cost $50,000, you pay exactly $50,000 for the goods — no markup.
Most manufacturing factories are not licensed for foreign trade. XILINK therefore purchases and exports the goods — our income is China's export VAT rebate (9–13% depending on the HS code), paid to us by the Chinese tax authorities after export.
If a factory holds export rights and you choose to contract with it directly, our agency fee is 5% of the goods value. It covers our work with the factory before the deal and after shipment.
Usually yes — but we cross-check it against the machine model before quoting. The same number gets reused across part families, and one wrong digit lands a part that bolts on and behaves differently. Send the machine model with the number and the hit rate goes up sharply.
Not at all — on an older machine it is often the right call. The problem isn't aftermarket, it's undeclared aftermarket: paying for rung 2 and receiving rung 4. Tell us the machine's age and how hard it works, and we'll tell you which rung is honest for that job.
Workable. Photograph it from several angles including ports and mounting face, and measure what you can. For cylinders we need five numbers — bore, rod, stroke, closed length, pin diameter. For fittings, the thread standard matters more than the size.
No fixed minimum on the goods. Hydraulics are small and dense, so the practical question is freight: a single seal kit is rarely worth a shipment on its own, but it travels free alongside your next order. If a machine is down we quote air freight as well and let the number decide.
Send us a part number or a spec sheet — we'll find who actually makes it. That is a more useful answer than a brand list, because for most numbers there are several honest routes and the right one depends on your machine and your budget.
If this order is a repeat of a part already bought from a supplier that has been audited and paid, a middleman adds cost and nothing else — say so and we'll leave it alone. We earn our place on unfamiliar numbers, several suppliers in one shipment, or a supplier nobody on your side has checked.
A list, a photo of a nameplate, or just the machine and the symptom. Every quote line we send back names the part family, the rung and the plant.
