In the world of industrial sourcing, there is a dangerous temptation to assume that “a valve is a valve.”

Last week, a client in Aktobe (Project Ref: KZ-Waterjet-07) contacted us with a crisis. His HEAD38030Z Waterjet Cutting Machine was losing pressure. The intensifier pump couldn’t maintain the critical 400 MPa (60,000 PSI) needed to cut steel.

He diagnosed the problem: a failed Hydraulic Check Valve.
